A Mythic Short Film about the Birth of Imagination
First Canvas is an original short film exploring the moment creativity first emerges when the impulse to observe becomes the need to create. Set in a prehistoric world, the film serves as both a narrative work and a proof-of-concept for MonchoConcha’s hybrid filmmaking approach, blending traditional storytelling craft with next-generation production tools to inform our upcoming slate, including our first period horror film, Blue Snow.
